"Mickey in the flower bed"

Mickey Collie Joined the Stauffer Family January, 2001 Mickey's story is proof that even the beautiful can be unwanted. She was a young, healthy dog - a spitting image of the faithful collie in our classic "Found" print (see below), when she found her "forever" home with my mom and dad after being abandoned in a parking lot on a bitter cold January day. Found - Artist of the original oil painting - unknown Everyone remembers this inspiring picture from their childhood days, and we're pleased to offer it in a few different formats! We do not know the artist's name on this - for sure. Some attribute the work to Albrecht Schenck, other art historians think it's likely by Walter Hunt - (entitled "Shepherd's Call"); Hunt was known for his beautiful paintings of Collies.
