Gina's note: I got this in as a sample. I'm not sure it's up to the task for a professional farrier to use all day but definitely adequate for a horse owner to have on hand for to locate the source of hoof soreness from injuries or abscesses. They're well-made and heavy, but signficantly less precise than professional-grade testers, and the price reflects this.
