This vest has been wash tested (it passed) but never worn.
This is a very warm vest, almost like a coat. It's soft, smooth polyester - finely printed to look like woven woolen herringbone. It's lightweight but very cushy padding, and inside is ultra-soft knit.
This vest is by a high-end manufacturer, and it's loaded with great, expensive details - double pockets outside (flap snaps shut on one pocket, behind that is an open side pocket for your hands.) Inside are two additional open pockets. There's also and elastic drawstring in the hem with two toggle closures, and those are neatly contained with keeper loops, so no matter how snug you pull them, there's no loose end hanging down to catch on things or look sloppy.
