Ray was working on this sequel to his first book Tails of a Horseshoer when he passed away on July 26, 2025. Lyndsay picked up the reins on the project and made sure it came to fruition. The first half of the book is more of Ray's stories; How Much Do You Charge, A Real Stinker, What's The Rest of the Story About this Horse, Bute in the Nail Holes, and more...
The second half is a compilation of Ray's articles and interviews with major publications over the course of his long farrier career.
