I got these in as samples and the quality is not great. Presentation is nice but the finish on the irons is not smooth and while the leather is adquate thickness and the edges are smooth, the lack of attention to detail on the irons gives me pause on trusting such an integral piece of tack given these other sticking points.
Everything looks authentic so I think these would make great decorative pieces or for use in craft project, props for photography or wedding decorations, wreaths, etc.
