Super Heavyweight Embroidered EAT BRAY LOVE Donkey Hoodie *ONLY 1 AVAILABLE Size Large*
This super heavy hoodie is almost 9 oz fabric weight, quite a bit thicker than our other sweatshirts. I got it in as a sample; it had an awkward slogan screenprinted on the back in light grey. Rather than let a perfectly good heavyweight hoodie go to waste, I covered the nonsense with Lesley Bruce's spunky donkey and his wreath of wildflowers.
You can still see bits of the original print leaking out in some areas - a reminder that even ugly beginnings can turn into something better. This was an experiment to see how well embroidery can reclaim a printed garment.
The donkey won. The original lettering… not so much.
What's left underneath is part of the story.
Tag says it's 100% polyester but it is super soft and snuggly, smooth outside and plush inside. Measures 27" wide at the armpits and 28" tall shoulder to hem. Sleeves are 23" armpit to cuff. This garment has been washed and dried (but not worn) so no shrinkage expected and there was zero pilling.
