I got this in as a sample. Brand new, never worn.
It's soft, sturdy elastic that measures 1.9" wide, with a flat length (adjusted all the way up) of about 19" and max of about 34". These measurements were taken flat with zero stretch being made to the elastic. At the 34 max adjustment I can pull it another 6+ inches so it does have good stretch.
The hardware and buckle are shiny black plated as well for an elegant, understated look. The fasten mechanism is just a hook, there is no latch.
