I got this in as a sample for our dog who is afraid of bugs landing on her. She is the brown dog pictured - a Malamute mix who weighs about 60 pounds and has medium thick hair coat (not fluffy at all) The tag says XL but she is not an XL dog. At any rate, it's adjusted snugly as shown. She was briefly calmer wearing it but in the heat of summer this was not going to be a feasible solution. She wore it for probably less than an hour, after which it was washed and dried. It washed and dried perfectly and not even any residual hair in the velcro!
At any rate, for a short haired, inside dog this might be just the thing?
