The story of the original Barn Chores Card by HoofPrints owner Gina Keesling
This photo of a working cow barn amidst the snow flurries is the result of a collaborative effort between two talented equestrian / agricultural photographers.
Christina Handley is based in Canada; she and her husband live on a working farm in southern Ontario with their Belgian horses and herd of beef cattle.
Laura Cotterman is located in Virginia's hunt country. Laura has been in and around the horse business for 30 years breeding and training race and sport horses. She lives in Delaplane with her husband Mark who is a farrier.
Some years later, I decided to make a second version of this original barn chores card, using an image that featured the inside of the barn in contrast to the snowy outside in this first card. You can see both here
