Tuff Chix Pink Summer Chore Gloves *SOLD OUT!* |
 |
HoofPrints owner Gina Keesling thoughts about Tuff Chix Summer Chore Gloves:
These are the summer version of the popular Tuff Chix Fleece gloves. The backs are a nice breathable mesh, with a strip of padding over the knuckles. Palms are suede-like synthetic that grips like leather but washes up a lot better. The sides of the fingers are another material - thinner, but still very protective. Very well designed and constructed gloves that beat leather hands down.
Customer requests is one of the main reasons I decided to bring these chore gloves on board. I had a sample in my stash for quite a while, and I was disappointed that the fingers were a little too long. They were the correct size for me, and I have average hands, so I was concerned that there would be fit problems with my customers. However, I had a big landscaping project to do the other day, so dug these out and forced myself to wear them - long fingers and all... By the time I finished I was sold. They'd sort of molded to my hands and the finger length problem went away! I was cutting rose bushes and scooping debris out of landscaping rock - these performed perfectly. Love them.
My customers tell me these are great for grooming, building fence, baling hay and other farm chores, gardening, and even riding!

Great Gloves |

These gloves have lasted a really long time and I am hard on gloves. They have a great fit compared to other gloves and the fingers don’t have an inch extra at the tips which normally happens. They live up to the hype. |

Gave As Gift |

We had to replace a vehicle during crazy COVID time. The dealerships were operating differently and used vehicles sold out from under us. Finally connected with a female salesman who was dedicated to working with us and after several weeks, we purchased a good one. She was so helpful to us and pleasant to work with, when I heard she had an older horse I knew I wanted to gift her something at Christmas. I chose these gloves, wrapped them, and left them with a card one day. She was so appreciative and said they worked great grooming her horses coat. It felt good to give a gift to help someone with their equine passion! |

Not so good |

First, I just want to say the winter tuff chix gloves are awesome. So time to put the winter ones away and get out the brand new Summer chore Gloves. Put them on and fit perfect. Did a barn clothes wash gloves included. I clothes line dry. Both gloves seams pulled out on pointer finger. So sad. Was hoping they be as good as the winter ones. |

Just what I needed! |

I do all the major wood chopping -2-4 cords a year and fire building chores for my husband and I, so I am picky about my gloves. For years elk hide was a favorite, but expensive. My husband tried to get me to wear lined rubber ones, but I hate them. I decided to try Stuff Chic a few years back. I dont like pink, but love these gloves! I use the summer ones all year, even in the snow. I am 75, so have had a lot of gloves over the years! |

Own multiple pairs |

I bought these because of Gina’s recommendation. She said they were great for dealing with firewood and, boy, was she right! We have an outside wood burner and one pair has made it through multiple winters of handling firewood from sawing to transporting to stacking multiple cords a year. I also use them for barn chores and they’ve held up extremely well. No rips, tears, or problems with stitching. Highly recommended! |

Tuff Chix Summer Gloves |

These are easily the most bang-for-the-buck gloves I have ever bought. I saw Ginas testimonial a few times over the years and always thought these looked nice, but I didnt want to buy them without trying them on first. I have very petite wrists and long piano-player fingers. These fit excellently with just enough moveablility to flex and maintain range of motion. They give me good dexterity when haltering fractious foals and let me anchor down when the weanlings and yearlings spook while protecting from rope burn. I have used these extensively for farm maintenance and beautification: hoeing, weeding, mucking, branch gathering note these are not thorn-proof, throwing bags of grain and bales of hay, moving decorative rock, and anything else that happens on a farm. I am continually impressed that these have held up so well. They have no holes, loose threads, worn spots, or loss of knuckle protection. They breathe wonderfully which is soo important in the Arizona summer. The most impressive feature is the cleaning and bounce-back. These feel like leather but can get tossed in the cold wash with my jeans. No hand wash or special detergent needed. Lay flat to air dry, and they look brand new no matter how much dirt or new foal poop was crusted on them before. I wash these at least weekly and there is no loss of integrity. This ease of biosecurity makes all the difference working with babies and just not feeling gross pulling on gloves with dried sweat. |

These gloves are awesome! |

THESE GLOVES ARE AWESOME!!!! I ordered my first pair quite some time ago, years. I’ve never been happy with any type of glove I’ve used up ‘til then. I have sensitive skin so gloves are a must for me when I venture outside and Tuff Chix are on my hands from the time I walk out of my house until I’m done with chores whether it is trimming those prickly rose bushes, pulling weeds, working and playing and riding my horses or whatever misc. outdoor activity I find myself charging into. They FIT PERFECTLY !! I have very small hands and have always had trouble finding any gloves that even remotely fit properly. But these are different as they have no gaps nor overly long fingers. They do seem to form to your hands better with each use, and they truly live up to their name. Finally wore out the first pair after 2 years of almost daily use. I now have 4 pair – 2 summer and 2 winter sets of these gloves. I don’t want to ever be without them again. The winter fleece ones usually work pretty well with the cold, but of course if the temps dip way below freezing, I will place a hand warmer to keep my fingertips from freezing while taking care of my horses, Joe and Bella, in those brutal winter temps here in central Missouri. Thank you, Gina, for finding these remarkable gloves. |

Im not a horse owner but do volunteer construction for Habitat for Humanity and another local group. I live in a warmer climate so I got the summer chore gloves for both winter and summer. The grip is great and my hands are protected from nicks and cuts. I can tell that these will last a long time. |

I rarely give highest stars or scores on any survey but dont let the 4 stars fool you! These chore gloves literally fit like a glove! I love putting them on and going about my chores not having to worry about fumbling fingers because they are too big or not being able to bend my fingers because they are too small/tight. I have not done a whole lot with them like hauling hay since my horse is older and can not eat hay anymore but still, I believe they would hold up in lots of use. |
